Questions
Almost always irritation rather than infection — usually from sleeping on it, snagging it, jewelry that's too long or too short, or over-cleaning. Bring it in. Most bumps resolve within weeks once the underlying cause is fixed, and the fix is often just a jewelry downsize.
Cartilage takes six to twelve months to fully heal, far longer than a lobe. You can usually change the decorative end after about three months, but the post itself should stay until it's genuinely healed. We'll change the end for you for free if you're not confident doing it.
We'll do two, occasionally three, in one visit if they're spread across both ears. Stacking multiple fresh piercings on the same ear makes sleeping impossible and compromises all of them. We'd rather map the full layout now and pierce it in two or three visits.
